Born in Houston and raised in Detroit, Sheikh Abdul Hakim brings a wealth of experience and dedication to serving the Muslim community. He completed the memorization of the Qur’an (Hafiz) and holds a Master’s in Islamic Shariah and Arabic Studies with a specialization in the 10 Modes of Qur’anic Recitation (Sab’ah & Thalaathah) from Madrasah Arabia Islamia in South Africa.

• Served as Imam in Florida, Louisiana, and San Antonio, providing spiritual guidance, interfaith outreach, and counseling services.
• Former National Director of Development for Basmah USA, leading relief initiatives for Rohingya Muslims.
